0 / 1,000

Describe the subject, setting, lighting and composition. English works best.

Style

Your description is used as written.

More steps can add detail but take longer. This model is built for few steps, so 4 is usually enough.

Your description is sent to the image model (Cloudflare Workers AI) to create the picture. We do not store the description or the image; we log only usage counts. Size is fixed at 1024 x 1024 pixels.

Result

Describe an image and select Generate image.

Images are generated by AI (FLUX.1 [schnell] by Black Forest Labs) and can be inaccurate: text, hands and small details are often wrong. Do not use them to mislead people.

Do not create images of real people without their consent, and do not try to recreate trademarks or other people's artwork. Explicit content is blocked.

The FLUX.1 [schnell] model is released under the Apache 2.0 licence, which allows personal and commercial use. You are responsible for how you use an image; generated images may not be protected by copyright in some countries. See the Black Forest Labs terms.

How to use the AI Image Generator

  1. Describe the image: the subject, the setting, the lighting and the view (for example "wide view" or "close-up").
  2. Optionally pick a style. It adds a few descriptive words to your prompt, which are shown under the buttons.
  3. Choose the number of steps. 4 is the default; more steps can add detail but take longer.
  4. Select Generate image and wait a few seconds.
  5. Download the image, or change the description and generate again.

Worked example

A product-style photo

Description "A bowl of ramen on a wooden table, top-down view" with the Photo style is sent to the model as "A bowl of ramen on a wooden table, top-down view, realistic photograph, natural lighting, sharp focus, detailed". At 4 steps the model returns one 1024 x 1024 JPEG. Each generation is different, so run it again if the first result is not right.

How it works

Your description (plus any style words) is sent from our server to FLUX.1 [schnell], a 12 billion parameter text-to-image model by Black Forest Labs, running on Cloudflare Workers AI. The model starts from random noise and refines it over 1 to 8 steps into an image that matches the text. It returns a 1024 x 1024 JPEG, which we pass straight to your browser without storing it.

Assumptions

  • The output size is fixed at 1024 x 1024 pixels; the model does not offer other sizes or aspect ratios here.
  • Prompts that obviously ask for explicit, violent or non-consensual content are refused before they reach the model.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the images commercially?

FLUX.1 [schnell] is released by Black Forest Labs under the Apache 2.0 licence, which allows commercial use of the model and its outputs. You are still responsible for what you create: do not copy trademarks, other people's artwork or real people's likeness, and note that purely AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright in some countries.

Do you store my prompts or images?

No. The prompt is sent to the model to create the image and the image is returned to your browser. We log only counts (for daily limits), never the prompt or the picture.

Why does text in the image look wrong?

Image models draw letters as shapes and often misspell words. Add text afterwards in an image editor instead.

Is there a daily limit?

Yes. To keep it free there is a small number of images per visitor per day and an overall daily cap. Limits reset at midnight UTC.

Limitations

  • Needs Cloudflare Workers AI, so it only works on the live site. If the service is not available the form still loads but generation is disabled.
  • Fixed 1024 x 1024 output. Text, hands, logos and small details are often inaccurate.
  • Rate limited per visitor and per day. The content filter is a simple word check, so some harmless prompts may be refused.
  • Results are random: the same description gives a different image each time.
