Information we process

Browser-based tools

Calculators, PDF tools, image tools and developer tools process your inputs and files on your device. They are not uploaded. If you use a Share button, your inputs are placed in the link after the # symbol; browsers do not send that part of a link to our server.

Server-based tools

• AI tools: the text you submit is sent to our AI provider [name of provider, for example Anthropic or OpenAI] to generate a response. We do not store the text you submit or the generated output. We keep a usage log with the tool name, the date, the size of the input and output, token counts, estimated cost and a one-way hashed identifier derived from your IP address, to enforce daily limits and control costs. • URL checking tools: when you submit a public URL, our server requests that URL and processes the response to show you the results. We do not store the fetched content.

Forms

Anonymous usage counts

We count tool uses, guide downloads and clicks on outbound partner links to understand what is useful. These records contain the tool or link name, the page and the date. They do not contain your inputs, IP address or any identifier.

Technical logs and security

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and reliability. Rate limiting uses a salted, one-way hash of your IP address held in memory or our database for a limited period.

Cookies and similar technologies

• Necessary: your theme choice, favourite tools and cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage. Administrators receive a secure session cookie when they sign in.
• Optional analytics: every page loads the Google tag (Google Analytics 4) in Google Consent Mode. Until you accept, it sets no cookies and Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers, such as that a page was viewed. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits. Tool inputs are never sent to analytics.
• Optional advertising: if the site shows ads, the ad provider may use cookies for personalised ads only if you accept; otherwise non-personalised ads are requested where supported.

How long we keep information
