Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The files are processed on your device and never sent to our servers.
Can you open password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs cannot be edited safely in the browser, so the editing tools explain this instead of producing a broken file. PDF to JPG can render them with the password.
Why is my compressed PDF not much smaller?
Text-based PDFs are often already compact. Big savings usually come from large images, which the lossy mode reduces.
