Financial calculators

Mortgage, loan, savings and everyday maths with transparent formulas.

Every calculator shows the formula and assumptions it uses. Results are estimates based on the numbers you enter, not quotes, advice or lender decisions.

About these financial calculators

Each calculator shows the formula it uses and lists its assumptions, so you can check the working rather than trust a black box.

Mortgage calculators are split by country because US and Australian home loans are quoted, repaid and taxed differently. General loan, savings and everyday calculators work in any currency.

Questions

Do the calculators use current interest rates?

No. We never fill in market rates, taxes or fees. Enter the figures from your own quote or statement so the result reflects your situation.

How accurate are the results?

The formulas are tested against published reference values. Results are still estimates: lenders may round differently, charge fees or calculate interest daily.

Is my information saved?

No. Calculations run in your browser. The Share button puts your inputs in the link after the # symbol, which is not sent to our server.
