How to use the grammar checker
- Paste your text (up to 8,000 characters).
- Choose US, UK, Australian or Canadian spelling.
- Keep "Explain each correction" on if you want to learn the rule behind each fix.
- Select Check grammar, then copy the corrected text.
Worked example
A short email with errors
"Their going to send the report tomorow, and me and Sam will reviews it." becomes "They're going to send the report tomorrow, and Sam and I will review it.", with four listed corrections: their/they're, tomorow/tomorrow, pronoun case and subject-verb agreement.
How it works
A large language model proofreads the text with instructions to correct errors only and to keep your wording, style and meaning. Each correction is listed with the original fragment and the rule applied.

How is this different from the grammar and tone assistant?
The grammar checker fixes errors only and explains them. The grammar and tone assistant can also improve clarity or rewrite your text in a new tone.
Is the output original and accurate?
AI text is generated from patterns in training data. It can contain mistakes, outdated information or phrasing similar to existing text. It is not guaranteed to be original, plagiarism-free or factually accurate, so review and edit it before use.
Do you store what I type?
Your input is sent to our AI provider to produce the result. We log only usage counts and sizes for rate limiting and cost control, not the text itself. Avoid entering passwords, payment details or sensitive personal data.
Is there a usage limit?
Yes. To keep the tool free, each visitor has a daily number of generations and there is an overall daily cap. The limit resets at midnight UTC.
Limitations
- Requires an AI provider to be configured by the site administrator. If it is not available, the form still loads but generation is disabled.
- Free use is rate limited per visitor and per day.
- The model has no access to the internet or your accounts, and it may state things confidently that are wrong.
