Effective from 2 July 2014. Applies to residential and commercial land. Results are shown to the cent; WA rounding of cents was not confirmed.

First home buyers in Western Australia
First home owner rate of duty. From 7 May 2026: nil up to $600,000, then $16.15 per $100 or part above $600,000, up to $800,000. Above $800,000 the general rate applies.
New homes: From 7 May 2026: nil up to $600,000, then $16.15 per $100 or part above $600,000, up to $800,000 (newly built or established homes).
Vacant land: From 7 May 2026: nil up to $450,000, then $20.14 per $100 or part above $450,000, up to $550,000.
